Anod's Redemption.
The second book of Anod's series.
ANOD, BANISHED WARRIOR of the Society's elite Kartog Guards, comes to grip with the vast changes in her life. The undeniable attraction of her son and mate lessen the sting of her separation from the Society, the only 'family' she has ever known. Anod and Bradley decide to begin anew. While the pioneer settlers of Murtauri Four continue to expand their new community under the protection of the Society's starships, Anod's nemisis, the former Captain Zitger, now Yorax General Negolian, has waited for the starships to leave. Anod is faced once again by his betrayal and tyranny. She learns the joy of love, and suffers the devastation of loss, as she leads her people out of the abyss.

REVIEWS
Ms. Nancy Mehl: The Wichita Eagle -- CLOSE TO HOME - A LOOK AT KANSAS AUTHORS.
'Anod‘s Redemption’ explores the future of mankind
"Cap Parlier and his family moved to Kansas when he joined Beech Aircraft in 1991. He now lives in Andover with his wife, Jeanne, his mother, four dogs and a cat. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and sewed as a Marine aviator. He is a former director of the National Marrow Donor Program and is director emeritus of The Marrow Foundation. He was instrumental in helping a Soviet test pilot, exposed to radiation through the Chemobyl disaster, receive a bone marrow transplant in the United States. Parlier wrote a book about that experience.
"Parlier is a longtime fan of science fiction. 'I have been a Trekkie/Star Wars fan from the beginning,' he says. 'I have continued to retain my boyhood fascination with the stars, space exploration, and all things astronomical. Space is our inevitable future. I interviewed twice for the astronaut program but did not make it.'
”'Anod’s Redemption,' the second novel in a series, peers into the future of mankind, questioning the path we are on as a society. Anod, once a warrior who lived without emotion, now experiences life as a human being. She lives, loves and experiences the pain of loss while searching for a new existence on another world.Parlier offers a fast-moving plot that will hold your interest, but the main appeal of “Anod’s Redemption” lies within the strength and heart of its characters."
